Quarantine Zone Demo Review

I first got a look at the game through the play test. The bugs and cart system had me frustrated but I could see this game was going to be a good one. It seems that most of these issues have been sorted out before the demo was released and some new mechanics for the cart system was added. Now the only problem with the cart is...well, ME! I'm clearly just a terrible driver.
The idea is simple: Check survivors for sings of infection. Either clear them, quarantine them or liquidate them. You get a couple of tools to check them and often their luggage with and you have to make sure to send them to the right zone. The fines for making the wrong decision can be hefty. Manage your base by upgrading the survivors zone, feed them and keep the lights on. There is some action to be had on evacuation days when you escort the convoy and when the base gets attacked.
The look is really nice. Creepy, grim, earie and all the other words for that chill-up-your-spine feeling.
Here are some screenshots:

I keep coming back to this game. It's been almost a month since I joined the play test and now with the demo out I think it is a done deal, I'm buying this when it releases. This game keeps me busy but also I feel chilled when playing it. Not too much action but also enough to keep me from getting bored.
There is a lot of ways the devs can go with this game but I am a little concerned as to how long you can play it before the same-shit-different-day feeling sets in. So give the demo a go and keep your eye on this one, I have a feeling this game is going to take off but I'm not ready to give it the "cult following" stamp of approval just yet like with 7 Days to Die.
